Vomiting
Vomiting is the forceful expulsion of the contents of the stomach through the mouth. It can occur due to various reasons, including illness, food poisoning, motion sickness, or excessive alcohol consumption. The body often uses vomiting as a way to rid itself of harmful substances or irritants.
The process of vomiting is controlled by the brain and involves a series of muscle contractions. When the body detects a problem, signals are sent to the vomiting center in the brain, which triggers the muscles in the stomach and diaphragm to contract. This results in the contents of the stomach being expelled.
