Visual History Archive
The Visual History Archive is a digital collection that houses thousands of video testimonies from survivors of the Holocaust and other genocides. It was created by the Shoah Foundation, founded by filmmaker Steven Spielberg in 1994, to preserve the personal stories of those who experienced these historical events firsthand.
This archive serves as an educational resource, allowing researchers, educators, and the public to access and study the testimonies. It aims to promote understanding and awareness of the impact of genocide and the importance of tolerance and human rights through the powerful medium of personal narratives.
