Shoah Foundation
The Shoah Foundation, officially known as the University of Southern California Shoah Foundation, was established in 1994 by filmmaker Steven Spielberg. Its primary mission is to document and preserve the testimonies of survivors of the Holocaust and other genocides, ensuring that their stories are not forgotten.
The foundation has collected over 55,000 video testimonies from survivors and witnesses, creating a vast archive that serves as an educational resource. It aims to promote understanding and awareness of the consequences of hatred and intolerance through its educational programs and outreach initiatives.
