USC Shoah Foundation
The USC Shoah Foundation, established in 1994 by filmmaker Steven Spielberg, is dedicated to preserving the testimonies of Holocaust survivors and other witnesses of genocide. Its mission is to educate future generations about the Holocaust and the importance of tolerance and understanding through the collection and dissemination of these personal stories.
The foundation houses a vast archive of video testimonies, featuring over 55,000 interviews in multiple languages. It also develops educational programs and resources for teachers and students, aiming to promote awareness of the consequences of hatred and discrimination, and to foster a commitment to human rights worldwide.
