Visegrád
The Visegrád Group, often referred to simply as Visegrád, is a cultural and political alliance of four Central European countries: Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, and Slovakia. Established in 1991, the group aims to promote cooperation in various areas, including economic development, security, and cultural exchange. The name comes from the town of Visegrád in Hungary, where the first summit took place.
The Visegrád countries share a common history and cultural heritage, which strengthens their collaboration. They work together on issues such as regional stability, European integration, and addressing challenges like migration and energy security. The group also engages in joint initiatives within the framework of the European Union.
