Vinod Rai
Vinod Rai is an Indian civil servant who served as the Comptroller and Auditor General of India from 2008 to 2013. He is known for his role in promoting transparency and accountability in government finances. Rai gained significant attention for his reports on the 2G spectrum allocation and the Commonwealth Games, which highlighted irregularities and led to widespread discussions about corruption in India.
After retiring from government service, Rai took on various roles, including being the chairman of the Bank of Baroda and serving on the board of the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He has also been involved in sports administration, notably as the head of the Committee of Administrators for the Board of Control for Cricket in India.
