Raghuram Rajan
Raghuram Rajan is an Indian economist and former central banker, known for his role as the 23rd Governor of the Reserve Bank of India from 2013 to 2016. He gained international recognition for his work on financial markets and economic development, and he was the Chief Economist and Director of Research at the International Monetary Fund prior to his tenure in India.
Rajan is also a professor at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where he teaches finance and economics. He has authored several influential books and papers, focusing on issues like economic growth, financial stability, and the challenges facing emerging economies.
