Vincent Albert Gigante
Vincent Albert Gigante, also known as "The Chin," was an American mobster who led the Genovese crime family in New York City. Born on March 29, 1928, he became notorious for his eccentric behavior, including wandering the streets in a bathrobe and speaking in a slurred manner to avoid law enforcement scrutiny.
Gigante's criminal activities included racketeering, extortion, and murder. He was eventually convicted in 1997 on charges of conspiracy and racketeering, receiving a 12-year prison sentence. He passed away on December 19, 2005, while still serving his sentence.
