Vietnamese Satellite
The Vietnamese Satellite, officially known as VNREDSat-1, is Vietnam's first remote sensing satellite. Launched on May 5, 2013, it was designed to monitor natural resources, agriculture, and the environment. The satellite orbits the Earth at an altitude of approximately 600 kilometers, providing valuable data for various applications.
Developed by the Vietnam National Space Center in collaboration with international partners, VNREDSat-1 enhances Vietnam's capabilities in satellite technology. It plays a crucial role in disaster management, urban planning, and climate change monitoring, contributing to the country's development and scientific research efforts.
