VNREDSat-1
VNREDSat-1 is Vietnam's first remote sensing satellite, launched on May 7, 2013. It was developed to monitor natural resources, agricultural land, and environmental changes in Vietnam. The satellite orbits the Earth at an altitude of approximately 600 kilometers.
Equipped with a multispectral camera, VNREDSat-1 captures high-resolution images of the Earth's surface. This data supports various applications, including disaster management, urban planning, and climate change studies, enhancing Vietnam's capabilities in satellite technology and remote sensing.
