Vietnamese Emperors
Vietnamese Emperors were the rulers of Vietnam from the 2nd century BC until the early 20th century. They governed various dynasties, including the Ly, Tran, and Nguyen dynasties, each contributing to the country's culture, politics, and economy. These emperors often held absolute power and were seen as the divine representatives of the nation.
The last emperor of Vietnam was Bao Dai, who reigned during the Nguyen Dynasty until the monarchy was abolished in 1945. Vietnamese emperors were known for their elaborate palaces, such as the Imperial City in Hue, and their patronage of arts, literature, and Confucianism, which shaped Vietnamese identity.
