Vidyaranya
Vidyaranya was a prominent Indian philosopher, scholar, and statesman who lived during the 14th century. He is best known for his role in the establishment of the Vijayanagara Empire and served as a chief advisor to its first king, Harihara I. Vidyaranya was also a key figure in the revival of Hinduism and contributed significantly to the Advaita Vedanta philosophy.
In addition to his political influence, Vidyaranya was a prolific writer. He authored several important texts, including the Panchadasi, which explores the principles of Advaita Vedanta. His teachings and writings continue to inspire scholars and spiritual seekers in India and beyond.
