Victor Emmanuel I
Victor Emmanuel I was the King of Sardinia from 1802 until 1821. He was born on July 24, 1759, and was a member of the House of Savoy. His reign was marked by the challenges of the Napoleonic Wars, during which he fled to Cagliari in 1802.
After the fall of Napoleon, Victor Emmanuel I returned to the throne and focused on restoring the monarchy's power. He abdicated in 1821 due to revolutionary pressures and was succeeded by his brother, Charles Felix. Victor Emmanuel I died on January 10, 1824.
