Vashishta
Vashishta is a revered sage in Hindu mythology, known for his wisdom and spiritual knowledge. He is one of the seven great sages, or Saptarishi, and is often associated with the Rigveda, one of the oldest sacred texts in Hinduism. Vashishta is also recognized as the author of several hymns in the Vedas and is considered a teacher of the Ramayana hero, Rama.
In addition to his wisdom, Vashishta is famous for his role in various legends, including his rivalry with the sage Vishwamitra. He is often depicted as a symbol of righteousness and devotion, embodying the principles of dharma, or moral duty. His teachings continue to influence spiritual practices and philosophies in Hinduism today.
