Varro
Varro was a Roman scholar and writer who lived from 116 BC to 27 BC. He is best known for his works on agriculture, grammar, and philosophy. His most famous text, De Re Rustica, provides valuable insights into ancient farming practices and rural life in Rome.
In addition to his agricultural writings, Varro contributed to the study of language and literature. He developed a system of classification for different types of Latin literature and wrote extensively on grammar.
