Vanguard class
The Vanguard class is a type of nuclear-powered submarine used by the Royal Navy of the United Kingdom. These submarines are designed to carry and launch Trident II ballistic missiles, which serve as a key component of the UK's nuclear deterrent strategy. The Vanguard class consists of four submarines: HMS Vanguard, HMS Victorious, HMS Vigilant, and HMS Vengeance.
Each Vanguard-class submarine is equipped with advanced technology for stealth and survivability, allowing them to operate undetected in various environments. They are approximately 150 meters long and can carry up to 16 Trident missiles, each capable of delivering multiple nuclear warheads.
