Type 45 Destroyer
The Type 45 Destroyer, also known as the Daring-class destroyer, is a class of air-defense warships used by the Royal Navy. Designed for high-intensity warfare, these ships are equipped with advanced radar and missile systems, primarily the Sea Viper missile system, to protect against aerial threats.
Each destroyer is approximately 152 meters long and can reach speeds of over 30 knots. The Type 45 features a modern design with stealth capabilities, making it harder to detect. It serves multiple roles, including anti-air, anti-surface, and anti-submarine warfare, enhancing the operational flexibility of the Royal Navy.
