Valley of Flowers
The Valley of Flowers is a national park located in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. It is renowned for its stunning meadows filled with a diverse range of alpine flowers, including rare species like the Blue Poppy and Brahma Kamal. The park is part of the Nanda Devi Biosphere Reserve and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, attracting nature lovers and trekkers from around the world.
The valley is situated at an altitude of 3,200 to 6,750 meters and is surrounded by majestic peaks, including Nanda Devi. The best time to visit is during the summer months, from June to September, when the flowers bloom in vibrant colors, creating a breathtaking landscape. The area is also home to various wildlife, including the Snow Leopard and Himalayan Black Bear.
