VMRO
VMRO, or the Internal Macedonian Revolutionary Organization, is a historical political and revolutionary movement that originated in the late 19th century. It aimed to achieve independence for Macedonia from the Ottoman Empire and promote the rights of the Macedonian people. The organization played a significant role in the struggle for national identity and autonomy in the region.
In modern times, VMRO has evolved into a political party in North Macedonia, known as VMRO-DPMNE. It focuses on issues such as national identity, economic development, and European integration. The party has been influential in the country's politics, often advocating for a strong Macedonian identity and sovereignty.
