Václav II
Václav II was a king of Bohemia and Poland during the late 13th and early 14th centuries. He was born in 1271 and became the king of Bohemia in 1283, later being crowned king of Poland in 1300. His reign is noted for economic prosperity and the strengthening of royal power.
He was a member of the Přemyslid dynasty and was known for his efforts to centralize authority and improve trade. Václav II also played a significant role in the cultural development of his kingdom, promoting the use of the Czech language and supporting the arts.
