Utah Legislature
The Utah Legislature is the legislative body of the state of Utah, responsible for creating and passing laws. It is a bicameral system, consisting of two chambers: the Utah House of Representatives and the Utah Senate. The legislature meets annually at the Utah State Capitol in Salt Lake City.
Members of the legislature are elected by the citizens of Utah. The House has 75 representatives, while the Senate has 29 senators. The legislative session typically begins in January and lasts for 45 days, during which lawmakers discuss and vote on various bills and issues affecting the state.
