Utah House of Representatives
The Utah House of Representatives is the lower chamber of the Utah State Legislature, responsible for creating and passing state laws. It consists of 75 members who are elected to two-year terms. Each representative serves a specific district within the state, ensuring that local interests are represented in the legislative process.
The House works alongside the Utah Senate, which is the upper chamber, to review and amend proposed legislation. Sessions typically begin in January and last for 45 calendar days, during which representatives debate bills, propose amendments, and vote on various issues affecting the state of Utah.
