Universal House of Justice
The Universal House of Justice is the governing body of the Bahá'í Faith, established in 1963. It is located in Haifa, Israel, and consists of nine members elected every five years by the members of the National Spiritual Assemblies around the world. This institution is responsible for guiding the global Bahá'í community and ensuring the implementation of its teachings.
The Universal House of Justice has the authority to legislate on matters not explicitly covered in the Bahá'í scriptures. It also promotes unity, social justice, and the advancement of the Bahá'í community, addressing issues that affect its members and the wider society.
