Unabomber case
The Unabomber case refers to a series of bombings carried out by Ted Kaczynski, also known as the Unabomber, between 1978 and 1995. Kaczynski targeted individuals associated with modern technology and industrial society, resulting in three deaths and 23 injuries. His attacks were marked by homemade bombs sent through the mail.
Kaczynski's identity remained a mystery for years until he published a manifesto titled "Industrial Society and Its Future" in 1995. This document criticized technological advancement and its impact on human freedom. His brother recognized his writing style and alerted authorities, leading to Kaczynski's arrest in 1996.
