Ulrika Eleonora the Elder
Ulrika Eleonora the Elder was a Swedish queen consort born on December 23, 1656. She was the daughter of Duke Carl of Södermanland and Princess Maria Eleanora of Brandenburg. Ulrika married King Frederick I of Sweden in 1715 and became queen consort when he ascended the throne in 1720.
As queen, Ulrika Eleonora was known for her charitable work and support of the arts. She played a significant role in the royal court and was involved in various cultural and political activities during her husband's reign. She passed away on February 24, 1693.
