Ulrika Eleonora of Denmark
Ulrika Eleonora of Denmark was born on January 23, 1688, and was a Danish princess. She was the daughter of Frederick IV of Denmark and Louise of Denmark. In 1715, she married Frederick I of Sweden, becoming the Queen of Sweden. Her marriage was politically significant, strengthening ties between Denmark and Sweden.
As queen, Ulrika Eleonora played a role in the cultural and political life of Sweden. She was known for her charitable work and support of the arts. After her husband's death in 1751, she returned to Denmark, where she lived until her own death on February 24, 1759.
