USS Providence (CL-65)
The USS Providence (CL-65) was a light cruiser of the United States Navy, launched on March 16, 1943. She was part of the Cleveland-class cruisers, designed for speed and versatility during World War II. The ship was equipped with advanced radar and weaponry, allowing her to engage in various naval operations.
Throughout her service, the USS Providence participated in numerous campaigns in the Pacific Theater, including the Battle of Leyte Gulf.
