USS Narwhal (SS-168)
The USS Narwhal (SS-168) was a submarine of the United States Navy, launched on 24 March 1930. It was part of the Narwhal-class submarines and was designed for long-range missions. The vessel was named after the narwhal, a marine mammal known for its long, spiral tusk.
During its service, the USS Narwhal participated in various operations, including World War II. It was notable for its ability to carry out reconnaissance and special operations. The submarine was decommissioned on 15 December 1945 and later scrapped, marking the end of its operational history.
