USS Kidd
The USS Kidd (DD-661) is a Fletcher-class destroyer of the United States Navy, named after Rear Admiral Isaac C. Kidd. Launched in 1943, it served during World War II, participating in several key battles in the Pacific Theater, including the Battle of Leyte Gulf.
After the war, the USS Kidd was decommissioned and later preserved as a museum ship in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. It is now part of the USS Kidd Veterans Museum, where visitors can learn about naval history and the ship's significant contributions to military operations.
