USATF
The USA Track & Field (USATF) is the national governing body for the sport of track and field, long-distance running, and race walking in the United States. Established in 1979, it oversees the organization of competitions, sets rules, and promotes the sport at all levels, from youth to elite athletes.
USATF is responsible for selecting teams to represent the United States in international competitions, including the Olympic Games and the World Championships. The organization also provides resources for coaches, officials, and athletes, aiming to enhance the growth and development of track and field across the country.
