Typhon
Typhon is a figure from Greek mythology, often described as a monstrous giant and the personification of storms and chaos. He is said to be the son of Gaia and Tartarus, and is known for his fearsome appearance, featuring multiple heads and serpentine limbs. Typhon challenged the gods, particularly Zeus, for supremacy over the universe.
In the myth, after a fierce battle, Zeus ultimately defeats Typhon by trapping him under Mount Etna, a volcano in Sicily. This defeat symbolizes the triumph of order over chaos, and Typhon's legacy continues to influence various cultural references to storms and natural disasters.
