Twelve Apostles
The Twelve Apostles are a group of limestone stacks located along the southern coast of Australia, near the town of Port Campbell in Victoria. These natural formations were created by erosion, as waves from the Southern Ocean wore away the cliffs over thousands of years. Originally part of the mainland, the stacks now stand isolated, with the tallest reaching about 45 meters in height.
The site is a popular tourist destination, known for its stunning coastal views and dramatic scenery. Visitors can explore the surrounding Great Ocean Road, which offers various lookout points to view the Apostles, especially during sunrise and sunset when the light enhances their beauty.
