Tvrtko II
Tvrtko II was a Bosnian king who ruled from 1443 to 1444 and again from 1446 until his death in 1451. He belonged to the Kotromanić dynasty and was the grandson of Tvrtko I, the first king of Bosnia. His reign was marked by internal conflicts and challenges from neighboring powers, including the Ottoman Empire.
During his rule, Tvrtko II struggled to maintain the independence of Bosnia amid growing external pressures. His efforts to strengthen the kingdom were often undermined by feudal lords and rival factions. Despite these challenges, he is remembered as a significant figure in the history of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
