Turkish National Anthem
The Turkish National Anthem, known as "İstiklal Marşı," was adopted on March 12, 1921. Written by Mehmet Akif Ersoy, the anthem reflects the struggles and aspirations of the Turkish people during the War of Independence. It emphasizes themes of freedom, bravery, and national pride.
