Tsurugajo Castle
Tsurugajo Castle is a historic Japanese castle located in Aizuwakamatsu, Fukushima Prefecture. Originally built in the 1380s, it served as the seat of the Aizu clan during the feudal period. The castle is known for its distinctive white walls and impressive five-story main keep, which offers panoramic views of the surrounding area.
The castle has been reconstructed several times, with the current structure completed in 1965. It now houses a museum that showcases artifacts and exhibits related to the Aizu region and its history. Tsurugajo Castle is a popular tourist destination, especially during the cherry blossom season.
