Travel Sickness
Travel sickness, also known as motion sickness, occurs when there is a disconnect between what the eyes see and what the inner ear senses. This can happen during activities like riding in a car, boat, or airplane. Symptoms often include dizziness, nausea, and sweating, which can make traveling uncomfortable for many people.
The condition is more common in children but can affect anyone. To help alleviate symptoms, individuals can try focusing on a stable point in the distance, taking deep breaths, or using over-the-counter medications. Staying hydrated and avoiding heavy meals before travel may also be beneficial.
