Transportation in Cuba
Transportation in Cuba includes a mix of vintage vehicles, public buses, and taxis. Many cars on the road are classic American models from the 1950s, which have been maintained and repaired over the years. Public transportation is primarily provided by state-run buses, known as Guaguas, which are affordable but can be crowded.
In addition to buses, Cuba has a network of taxis, including shared options called Colectivos. Bicycles and horse-drawn carriages are also common in rural areas. The government has invested in improving infrastructure, but challenges remain due to economic constraints and limited resources.
