Tibetan Buddhist
Tibetan Buddhism is a form of Buddhism that developed in Tibet and incorporates elements of both Indian Buddhism and the indigenous Bon religion. It emphasizes the importance of spiritual practice, meditation, and the guidance of teachers, known as lamas. Tibetan Buddhism is characterized by its rich rituals, colorful art, and the use of mantras and mandalas.
The tradition is divided into several schools, with the most prominent being the Gelug, Nyingma, Kagyu, and Sakya schools. Each school has its own teachings and practices, but all share a common goal of achieving enlightenment and helping others on their spiritual paths.
