Tianwen
Tianwen is China's first independent interplanetary mission, aimed at exploring Mars. Launched on July 23, 2020, it consists of an orbiter, a lander, and a rover named Zhurong. The mission's primary goals include studying the Martian surface, atmosphere, and geology, as well as searching for signs of water and potential life.
The Tianwen mission successfully entered Martian orbit in February 2021, and the Zhurong rover landed on the planet's surface in May 2021. It has since been conducting scientific observations and sending valuable data back to Earth, contributing to our understanding of Mars and its environment.
