Throw-Ins
A throw-in is a method of restarting play in soccer when the ball goes out of bounds over the sideline. The game is paused, and the team that did not touch the ball last is awarded the throw-in. The player must use both hands to throw the ball from behind their head and keep both feet on the ground or behind the sideline.
During a throw-in, the player must ensure that the ball is thrown in a straight line and that both feet remain on the ground. The opposing team must stand at least two meters away from the thrower. A successful throw-in allows the game to continue smoothly.
