The Stooges
The Stooges, also known as Iggy and the Stooges, are an influential American rock band formed in 1967 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The original lineup included Iggy Pop as the lead vocalist, along with Ron Asheton on guitar, Dave Alexander on bass, and Scott Asheton on drums. They are known for their raw sound and energetic performances, which helped lay the groundwork for the punk rock movement.
Their self-titled debut album, released in 1969, featured tracks like "1969" and "I Wanna Be Your Dog."
