The Life of the Prophet Muhammad
The life of Prophet Muhammad began in Mecca around 570 CE. He belonged to the Quraysh tribe and worked as a merchant. At the age of 25, he married Khadijah, a wealthy widow. At 40, he began receiving revelations from Allah through the angel Gabriel, which continued for 23 years and formed the basis of the Quran.
Muhammad preached about monotheism and social justice, gaining followers but also facing opposition. In 622 CE, he migrated to Medina, where he established a Muslim community. He returned to Mecca in 630 CE, and after his death in 632 CE, his teachings spread rapidly, shaping the Islamic faith.
