The K2
K2 is the second-highest mountain in the world, standing at 8,611 meters (28,251 feet) above sea level. Located in the Karakoram range on the border between Pakistan and China, it is known for its challenging climbing conditions and extreme weather.
Climbers often face steep, icy slopes and the risk of avalanches, making K2 one of the most difficult peaks to summit. Unlike Mount Everest, which has a more established climbing route, K2 requires advanced technical skills and experience in high-altitude mountaineering.
