Testicular Tumor
A testicular tumor is an abnormal growth that occurs in one or both of the testes, which are the male reproductive organs responsible for producing sperm and hormones. These tumors can be benign (non-cancerous) or malignant (cancerous). The most common type of malignant testicular tumor is germ cell tumor, which originates from the cells that produce sperm.
Symptoms of a testicular tumor may include a lump or swelling in the scrotum, discomfort, or changes in the size of the testicle. Early detection is crucial for effective treatment, which may involve surgery, chemotherapy, or radiation therapy, depending on the tumor's type and stage.
