Testicular Tumors
Testicular tumors are abnormal growths that develop in the testes, the male reproductive organs responsible for producing sperm and hormones. These tumors can be benign (non-cancerous) or malignant (cancerous) and are most commonly found in young men between the ages of 15 and 35. Early detection is crucial for effective treatment.
The two main types of testicular tumors are germ cell tumors and stromal tumors. Germ cell tumors, which arise from sperm-producing cells, are the most common and include subtypes like seminomas and non-seminomas. Stromal tumors originate from the supportive tissue of the testes and are less common.
