Tension-Type Headache
Tension-Type Headache is a common form of headache characterized by a dull, aching pain and a sensation of tightness or pressure around the forehead or back of the head. It can occur episodically or become chronic, lasting from 30 minutes to several days. Triggers may include stress, poor posture, and lack of sleep.
Symptoms often include mild to moderate pain that is not aggravated by physical activity. Unlike migraines, Tension-Type Headaches do not typically involve nausea or sensitivity to light and sound. Treatment options include over-the-counter pain relievers, relaxation techniques, and lifestyle changes to reduce stress.
