Ten Sikh Gurus
The Ten Sikh Gurus are the spiritual leaders of Sikhism, each contributing to the faith's teachings and practices. The first Guru, Guru Nanak, founded Sikhism in the 15th century, emphasizing equality, service, and devotion to one God. The last Guru, Guru Gobind Singh, established the Khalsa and declared the Guru Granth Sahib as the eternal Guru.
Each Guru played a vital role in shaping Sikh beliefs and community life. They composed hymns, established rituals, and promoted social justice. The teachings of the Gurus continue to guide millions of Sikhs around the world today.
