Temple of Literature
The Temple of Literature, located in Hanoi, Vietnam, is a historic site dedicated to Confucius and serves as a symbol of education and culture. Established in 1070, it was the first university in Vietnam, known as the Imperial Academy, where scholars studied Confucian texts and philosophy.
The temple features beautiful traditional Vietnamese architecture, with serene gardens and ponds. It consists of five courtyards, each with its own significance, and is home to numerous stone steles that honor the names of successful graduates. Today, the Temple of Literature is a popular tourist attraction and a place for students to pray for academic success.
