Temperate Zone
The Temperate Zone is a region of the Earth characterized by moderate temperatures and distinct seasonal changes. It lies between the Tropical Zone to the south and the Polar Zones to the north and south. This zone experiences four distinct seasons: spring, summer, autumn, and winter, each with varying weather patterns and temperatures.
The climate in the Temperate Zone can be classified into two main types: Mediterranean and Continental. The Mediterranean climate features hot, dry summers and mild, wet winters, while the Continental climate has more extreme temperature variations between seasons. This diversity supports a wide range of ecosystems and agricultural practices.
