Telugu language
Telugu is a Dravidian language predominantly spoken in the Indian states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. It is one of the 22 scheduled languages of India and has a rich literary tradition that dates back over a thousand years. With approximately 81 million speakers, it is the third most spoken language in India.
The language has its own script, which is derived from the Brahmi script. Telugu is known for its unique phonetic structure and is often referred to as the "Italian of the East" due to its melodic sound. It plays a significant role in the cultural identity of its speakers.
